“I really enjoy being able to make a positive difference in my patients’ lives through their oral health journey. Whether it’s helping a child feel comfortable at their first dental visit, supporting a patient who may feel anxious about treatment, or helping someone improve their oral health and confidence, I love creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. Building relationships with my patients and their families and seeing their progress over time is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I believe that good communication and listening to each patient’s individual needs are key to providing care that they feel comfortable and confident with.”
Karen graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Oral Health and works as an Oral Health Therapist. She has experience across both public and private dental settings, as well as experience in dental assisting and reception. Karen is passionate about preventative dentistry and enjoys providing personalised care that helps patients understand and take ownership of their oral health. She has a particular interest in working with children and creating positive dental experiences from a young age. She also understands that dental visits can be daunting for some patients and strives to make every appointment as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Outside of dentistry, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, travelling and getting creative through crocheting and designing clothes. She loves trying new experiences, cuddling her cat and making the most of her time with the people closest to her.
