Custom made upper &amp; lower bleach trays are constructed after taking moulds of your teeth. You then take your box of bleach tubes home and use the bleach in your custom trays for 30-45mins each night. It\u2019s a really easy and comfortable way of whitening your teeth.\n\nFor first time users, patients will generally bleach for 2-3 weeks, every day. You have a lot more control with a take home bleaching system, such that if you start to experience any side effects, you can always bleach every second\/third night, or give your teeth a rest for awhile \u2013 it\u2019s completely up to you!<\/p><p>Our patients also like our take home bleaching system because they can get refill bleach, and right before a special occasion, they may bleach for a couple of days prior just to brighten up their smile.<\/p><p><b>What are the side effects of bleaching?<\/b><\/p><p>Sensitivity to cold is the main reported side effect, but that will usually stop as soon as you stop the bleaching process.<br \/>So if you\u2019re unhappy with the colour of your teeth, the next step is to<a href=\"https:\/\/grevillerdmd.com.au\/dental\/contact\/\"> book a full examination<\/a> with your dentist to determine what will be the best way to improve your smile.
