Happy 2017! The past year has been a busy one. The team here at Greville Rd Medical & Dental.

This time of the year, there’s a lot of talk about new year resolutions. I hope a big proportion of these resolutions are health-related, as a great man once said: “health is the greatest wealth”.
However as the year progresses, keeping these resolutions become more mundane, and they are soon back in the to-do pile for the following year.
Here are some ways I think we may be able to achieve our goals easily for 2017. Let’s smash these goals together!
- Small lists, baby steps List 2-3 small things to achieve daily, and feel the reward of ticking them off. It all adds up towards the end of the year.
- Face the demons Acknowledge that the biggest barrier to achieving anything – oneself. Admit that “I do not floss because I am lazy.” Now there’s nothing stopping you. Please start flossing daily.
- Make it fun! The associate that boring chore with something rewarding and fun. Dance to Justin Timberlake and hit that 10,000 steps per day!
It’s hard to keep up the enthusiasm months after you’ve swept up the confetti, but it’s not impossible. This year, pick one of a worthy resolution, follow our simple steps and stick with it. Here’s to your health!
